Pilanesberg National Park

The Pilanesberg National Park is probably one of the most accessible parks in South Africa. Bursting with over 7000 animals and 360 bird species, Pilanesberg covers an area of 550 square kilometers and is the fourth largest park in South Africa. The park is situated in a volcanic crater that is estimated to have erupted 1.2 billion years ago and resulted in incredible rock formations throughout the park. The area attracts an incredible variety of game and is rich in diverse fauna and flora.
